HOW TO START A BLOG AND PROFIT FROM YOUR PASSION: PART 2

Welcome back for Part 2 of How to Start a Blog and Profit from your Passion. Catch up by reading Part 1 here. Today I am going to focus on the tools that allow me to profit from my passion.

When I decided to take the plunge into the blogging world (the first of many good decisions) I never knew I would be so overwhelmed with all the knowledge out there. I had no idea where to go or how to start.

The second great decision I made was to join a few different blogging Facebook groups. One was Krista Dickson’s group called Blog-Woo Babes. This group helped me with so many different problems. I was so unbelievably thankful for such a great resource full of other bloggers who were just like me.

Through this Facebook group, I got to know Krista Dickson a bit more. I could tell that she was a very blog savvy gal and easy to talk to. I asked a few questions in the group and she always had a great idea for problem-solving.

It wasn’t too long later that I was taking one of Krista’s free courses, Beginner Blogger Bootcamp. I was only about halfway through this course when Krista opened enrollment for Profit From Your Passion, an online course.

I was on the fence about joining the paid course Profit From Your Passion because I was already in the Bootcamp as well as about 4 other free courses. I’d started to fall behind in a couple of the other courses but I thought surely I could learn everything if I just stuck to it.
