I never thought that 6 months ago when I googled “work from home jobs for moms” that I would end up where I am today.

Being a stay at home mom is tough stuff! We do about 1000 things at any given point throughout the day yet we still feel we don’t contribute enough. I have no idea where that feeling stems from but my goodness can I just shake it already!

I consider myself a SAHM and I have for about a year now. Technically, I should be called a work from home mom but I love what I do, I really don’t think of it as work.

Finding something that was just for me and something my family could profit from was one of the best things I have done for myself this year!

Before I get into how I make money for my family with my work from home job I want to remind you of all the awesomeness that you already do in the form of jobs.

  • maid
  • gardener
  • bookkeeper
  • party planner
  • event manager
  • secretary
  • nanny
  • finance manager
  • accountant
  • personal assistant
  • chef
  • valet
  • therapist
  • teacher

I’d keep going but I think I’ve got the point across, us moms… we do a lot.

I made this list to remind you, you aren’t just a SAHM you are so much more! So if you are thinking of starting a new business venture and don’t know if you are qualified or not, go back to the list and remind yourself, you are.

There are several ways you can make some money from work from home jobs for moms. Here are a few that have been known to generate alot of passion.

MLM

Have you heard of MLM or multi-level marketing? This would be a great way to make a bit of side money while staying at home. I have personally never tried it as I haven’t found a product that I have fallen in love with but I know many mamas who have really taken the dive into this world and are killing it!

I found a top 25 MLM list with doTerra, Younique, Forever Living, Avon and Scentsy in the mix! Here is the site if you would like to check it out www.multiplestreams.org. Don’t overlook the MLM community it can be an awesome way to make that extra cash you are looking for.

Selling Products

Selling your own products is absolutely a great way to make money. Do you love to sew, make party favors, or paint? You can sell any of that as well as any other product or service online! With so many platforms out there like Etsy, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace you don’t really have to be a great salesperson you can just let your product do the talking.

Not crafty? You can get into the online education world and create a virtual product instead. For instance, there are online courses about yoga, photography, cooking, web design and anything else that comes to mind. If you have a skill you want teach, chances are someone wants to learn. You can check out Udemy for a list of their courses their users are offering right now.

Blogging

I know I mentioned above that I have found my passion and that I have been able to actually make money from it so I want to talk a little bit about another way to work from home. Blogging.

Now there are some ups and downs to this one. If you are looking for a quick buck you need to keep moving but if you are looking to fulfill more than just your wallet this may be your new obsession. I could go on and on about my blogging journey but I will keep it short and sweet. Blogging has given this SAHM a new outlook on life, I have truly found my passion! If you are considering blogging I HIGHLY recommend this course (the one I took that put me on the fast track to blogging love).

There are many work from home mom jobs out there and it can be hard to make your way through them all without getting confused and wondering if they are worth it. The important thing to remember is that you need to find something you are passionate about, something you want to do day in and day out. If you don’t find that you will be forever searching.

If you are at all thinking you want to take the plunge like I did and start working from home in a profitable position this is an amazing kickstart that will get you headed in the right direction.
